WE want YOU!
THS J.R.O.T.C. welcomes the 2009-10 freshman class. We want to introduce you to a way of life that promote character building, high self esteem and discipline. Who are we? We are: The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC). A Federal program sponsored by the United States Armed Forces in high schools across the nation. Visit us in the YELLOW COMMONS.
Who are they?
You may see a team of runners and think they are the THS track team. They run miles; they run up hills and down hills; they run the parking lots; they run, run, run, and run some more. The JROTC has a Physical Training Team that competes in the state at various schools. We are disciplined to practice and taught to be winners. We have competed and won in the state competitions. We invite you to visit our commons and browse through our scrapbook and see some of the activities that we so diligently engaged. If you see students dawned in black tee shirts with white lettering that states “THS PT TEAM” then that’s your WINNING PHYSICAL TRAINING team. GO THS!!!!
